As we wrap ourselves in the darker evenings of the late autumn winter months ahead, like nature, it can be a good time to go inwards, reflect, sow seeds of intention for the future and commit some focused time for our 'selves' and our personal aspirations. Over the past few years, I have been facilitating The Artist Way course in person, at Turas House as a group workshop event. I am delighted to be able to offer this course online at this time. This is a course in discovering your creative self whether that is writing, painting, music, or setting time aside for yourself, changing jobs, addressing relationships. In tapping into that creative aspect of ourselves and working through any blocks, outdated beliefs, behaviours that no longer serve our life now, we can change our daily life experience. If you find that your 'time' is not your own, there is an imbalance in your work/family time and/or there is simply 'no time', then this course may assist in changing the status quo.

The course will commence via zoom on Thursday November 23rd and run fortnightly for 6 online workshops dates during lunchtime from 12.30 p.m. - 2 p.m. The course aims to conclude on February 1st, 2024, Lá Fhéile Bride (celebrating 1500 year anniversary of St. Brigid symbolising hope and renewal). The course foundation is based on daily stream of consciousness journal writing and includes weekly exercises and artist dates.

Past group participants have expressed they felt more determined in completing the course in a group context than working through it alone and the group setting offers support, multiple insights and encouragement.

"The Artist's Way dates were really enjoyable, empowering and felt absolutely safe within the small group of participants. Cli provided a protected space for us to explore, share our fears and experiences, comfort and encourage each other. I had worked through the book in previous years on my own, but given up when the going got tough. This time the group dynamics helped to work through the blockages and I felt inspired to write my first book." Anne

I had kept a copy of The Artists Way in the house for many, many years and had been promising myself that one day I would join a small group to work through it together. Last year I finally did that - and I’m so glad I did. Whether you are a “creative” or just someone looking to explore what makes you tick, I can’t recommend this process highly enough. I was most fortunate to have a first class facilitator like Cli Donnellan hosting and holding the course in such a kind and conscious way. Would recommend it to everyone. February at a glance....

Already close to the end of February 2024 and the year has been so busy and fast moving. Nevertheless, there has been a definite theme so far as I connect the dots to all the work that this year has
